Why I am here.

I started this blog as a knee jerk reaction to 3 years of pent up aggression towards my mother. Ever sense my wife and I have been together my mother has tried to run our children's lives. Its like she has gotten a second chance to be a parent. If the trend continues my wife and I will never get our first chance. I do love her very much but enough is enough.
It's time for my wife and I, and other parents in similar situations to take back control of their children. I am going to use this holiday season for a parenting assualt on my mother. Maybe I should just move away... that would be too easy. My children mean too much to me. They need to know their grandparents, but on my terms.
